Lawrence Andrew Ott, 81, of Russellville passed away March 1, 2011 at his residence.  He was born Sept. 13, 1929 in Illinois.  He was retired from Sunshine Mills and was a member of Halltown Methodist Church.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. Scott Lindsey and his brother-in-law, Tommy Halcomb officiating. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery in Vina, Ala.

He is survived by his son, Mark Ott and wife, Cheryl, of Russellville; daughter, Robin Patterson and husband, Stanley, of Russellville; grandson, Cory Hale, of Russellville and his girlfriend, Breanna Easter, of Florence, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Bobbie Halcomb Ott; his parents, Charles Conrad and Agnes Barbara Palaschak Ott; two brothers and three sisters.

Pallbearers were Cory Hale, Scott Robison, James Lindsey, Heath Halcomb, Danny Taylor and Eddie Lofton.
