Charles Grady Paden, 91, of Red Bay, Ala. passed away Monday, February 28, 2011 at Helen Keller Hospital. He was born Oct. 30, 1919 to Charlie and Minnie Paden. He was an Army veteran of WWII, retired from Franklin Electric Co-op where he worked for 39 years. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Red Bay.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home with Bro. Coye Marbutt officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Red Bay, Ala.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Paden, of Red Bay, Ala.; daughter, Wanda Cooper and husband, Phillip, of Belmont, Miss.; his brothers, Earl Paden and wife, Dimple, of Red Bay, Ala., Kenneth Paden and wife, Hazel, of Booneville, Miss., Floyd Paden and wife, Jean, and Charlie Paden and wife, Becky, of Golden, Miss.; his sisters, Reba Swindle, of Corinth, Miss. and Sybil Haber, of Golden, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elouise Wooten Paden; and his brother, Cecil Paden.
Pallbearers were Byron Hellums, David Paden, Ricky Wooten, Gary Williams and Ronnie Wooten and Ray Paden.
