Elmer D. “Junior” Shook, Jr., 60, of Golden, Miss. passed away Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011 at the North Miss. Medical Center.  He was born Sept. 20, 1950 in Waterloo, Ala. to Elmer D. and Archie Bell Wigginton Shook, Sr. and he was a truck driver.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont, Miss. with Bro. James Herman Gray and Bro. Billy West officiating.  Burial was in Old Bethel Cemetery in Golden, Miss.

He is survived by one son, Brent Shook, of Red Bay, Ala.; two sisters, Shirley Miller and husband, Wayne, of Hamilton, Ala. and Brenda Gallivan and husband, Dick, of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters-in-law, Pearline Shook, of Waterloo, Miss. and Margie Shook, of Ripley, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Virginia Shook; and two brothers, Clayton Shook and Billy Shook.
