Vesta Ells Hines, 80, born July 22, 1930, of Russellville, departed this life Monday, Oct. 25, 2010.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens with James McCullar and Josh Miller officiating.
Mrs. Hines was the oldest daughter of ten children born to parents, Roy Ells and Mary Ezzell Ells. She married Harry “Boe” Hines December 10, 1949. Together they had four children, Larry, Roger, Deborah and Tammy.
Mrs. Hines was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; son, Larry; special friend, John Arnett; brothers, Samuel Ells, Bruce Ells, Millard Ells, Ray Ells and infant baby sister.
She is survived by son, Roger Hines and wife, Rebecca; daughters, Deborah Oliver and husband, Norman, and Tammy Cull and husband, Chip; sisters, Elois Miller, Jean Lantvit, both of Louisville, Ky.; Ruth Gordon, of Canton, Ga.; Brenda Hamm, of Stapleton, Ga.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild.
Pallbearers will be, Chip Cull, Erik Pounders, Norman Oliver, Matthew Hines, Hugh Plott and Robert Brown.
The family wishes to thank all the many friends and family that were so thoughtful during our mother’s illness.
