Luther Eugene Harmon, 68, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2010 at his residence.

He was a native of Franklin County and member of Heritage Fellowship Church.  He was a truck driver for B & M Lumber Supply Company.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Heritage Fellowship Church with Brian Scott, Terry Miller and Mark Riggs officiating.  Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.  Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville assisted the family.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Harmon, of Russellville; son, Randy Eugene Harmon and wife, Theresa, of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; sister, Sarah Harper and husband, Louis, of Belgreen; grandchildren, Connor Eugene Harmon; step-grandson, Cory Vinson and wife, Heather; step-granddaughter, Kista Leach; step-great-grandchildren, Kevin and Christine; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be, Doug Saint, Barry Smallwood, Paul Bingham, James Bingham, Gerald Borden and Billy Nix. Honorary pallbearer will be Charles Skidmore.
