Carl J. Hargett, 51, of Russellville passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010 at his residence.

The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. James McCullar. Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.

He is preceded in death by his father, Plas Hargett; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Hargett; daughter, Monica Gloyd and husband, James, of Russellville; step-sons, Christopher Poore, of Tuscumbia, Jason Poore, of Russellville; grandson, James Dean Gloyd; mother, Christine Hargett; sister, Denise Presley; and niece, Christina Presley.
