Foster parents need holiday help

One of the fondest memories many people have from their childhood is waking up to find presents underneath the Christmas tree.
And most would agree, that is what every child deserves.
That's why the Franklin County Foster Parent Association is looking for help. The FCFPA holds an annual donation drive during the holiday season each year to raise money for children who have been placed in foster homes in the county.
The association hopes to raise $5000-$7500 and is asking for donations from churches, businesses and private individuals.
There are 43 foster children in Franklin County, but there are only 15 licensed homes to receive the children. That means that there are several sibling groups which can be hard on some of the foster parents.

Many of the children placed in foster care have already been through difficult circumstances and the money raised will only provide a happier, brighter life for them.
