    COMING UP
    Mission Meridian will sponsor a month-long reconciliation rally throughout October. The observance will be celebrated with a series of events.
    Oct. 18: A pancake breakfast from 7 a.m.-9:45 a.m. Oct. 18 at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill, 106 U.S. Highway 11 &80.
    Oct. 24: A Clergy and Leadership Appreciation Reception, from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. at the Mission Meridian office.
    Oct. 25: The unity skit, "Heaven Bound," at 6 p.m. at the Mission Meridian office.
    Oct. 31: A combined worship service at 6 p.m. at the Global Harvest Center, 1920 C St.
    The annual homecoming observance of Pine Grove Church of God will be Oct. 19 at 10:30 a.m. Song and testimony will be presented by Tommy Moseley; a noon meal will follow the service.
    ZERO Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church will celebrate its annual Children's Sabbath on Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. The theme for this year's celebration is "What Does the Lord Require? Do Justice, Love Kindness, Walk Humbly With Your God." A children's choir will open the worship service, children and youth will be leaders in worship, special music will be provided by Jaycie Collins and the Rev. Everett Bonner will bring the message.
    Revival at Lost Gap Independent Protestant Church, 73 N. Lakeland Drive, will begin at 11 a.m. Oct. 19; evening services will begin at 6 p.m. Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20-24. Guest evangelist will be retired pastor and author the Rev. Carliss Evans. All sermons will be from the Book of Revelation.
    WARD, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be at 6 p.m. at Union Chapel Central Methodist Church.
    The New Birth Jail Choir will perform at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Abundant Life Tabernacle on Highway 19 North.
    CHUNKY The congregation of Chunky Baptist Church will observe its 38th Annual Homecoming Day on Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served in the family life building, followed by an afternoon program.
    The homecoming observance will begin the church's revival services, Oct. 20-23 at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Randall Creel as guest evangelist. A nursery will be provided.
    A gospel meeting featuring the Rev. Antonio Montanez of Dallas will be presented at 17th Street Church of Christ Oct. 19-24. Service times are 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., Oct. 19; 7 p.m., Oct. 20-24. The church is at 1719 17th St.
    NEWTON White Stone Baptist Church's Eighth Annual Marriage and Single's Conference is Oct. 19 22-24.
    Seminars will be available each night and possibly during the day. Daytime seminars will be scheduled according to request. The subjects will be Abortion Recovery, Oct. 22; Divorce Recovery, Oct. 23; and Men in the Church (for both single and married men), Oct. 24. Seminars require preregistration, however there is no fee.
    Special entertainment and ministry for youth will be provided by Ready Writa each evening in the Family Life Center. A luncheon is schedule for Oct. 24; registration is $20 per person. Please register in advance.

    The Florida Boys will be in concert at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Temple Theatre. General admission seats are a $10 donation.
    ELLISVILLE The Dixie Echoes Quartet will be in concert at West Ellisville Baptist Church at 6 p.m. on Oct. 25. Special musical guest will be The Next Generation. Admission is free; a love offering will be taken. For information, call (601) 477-9333 or (601) 847-5339.
    LINDEN, Ala. The Seven Seals Program will be at 6 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
    A gospel meeting will be held at Northside Church of Christ Oct. 26-39 with the Rev. Larry E. Montgomery as guest speaker. The meeting will begin Oct. 26 with Bible study at 9:45 a.m., followed by worship service at 10:45 a.m. and a fellowship meal; worship service also will be held at 6 p.m. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 27-30. The church is at 4217 Highway 39 N.
    The Next Generation of Magee and The Kings of Jackson will be in concert at Mt. View Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Nov. 1. Admission is free; a love offering will be collected for the Baptist Children's Village of Mississippi, the only Southern Baptist child care agency in the state. The church is on Highway 19 South.
    The New Birth Jail Choir will perform at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 6183 Wesley Chapel Road.
