Moffett, Fort

Natalie Ann Fort and Robert Breckenridge Moffett, both of Atlanta, were married Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at Central United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. Nelson Ferrell Fort, Linda Peacock Moffett and the late Robert Leonard Moffett, all of Meridian.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Ferrell Fort and Mr. and Mrs. James Heidel Melton.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Moffett and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nolen Hansen Peacock.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, pianist; Stephanie Garrett, cellist; Susan Johnson, flutist; Michael Kelly, trumpeter; and Vince Massimino, violinist. Kristen Johnson served as the soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless gown of white crinkle silk chiffon with a soft floral and vine motif accented with sparkling bugle beads. She also adorned a two-tiered veil of illusion with scattered crystals and a headpiece of pearls, crystals and porcelain roses.
Allison Trueheart Fort attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miriam Moffett Balzli and Stacey Moffett Harwell, sisters of the bridegroom; Elva Suzanne Burks and Carrie Faye Hames, both of Atlanta; Jessica Glynn Fort, Nicola Makey Frug and Hope Braddock Mitchell, all of Meridian.
Avery Caroline Harwell was flower girl. Program attendants were Heather Ann Holifield and Melissa Shea Powell. Jessica Anderson Boone served as the bride's proxy.
Andrew Walker Snowden served as best man. Groomsmen were William Ferrell Fort and Matthew Melton Fort, brothers of the bride; Charles William Carruth, Brandon Reed Dunn and Michael Andrew VanVeckhoven, all of Meridian; Judson Wesley Dowling and Timothy Joe Pinkham, both of Atlanta; Stephen David Foley of Baton Rouge; and Joseph Allen Simpson of Jackson.
James Michael Harwell was ring bearer. Junior attendants were William Daniel Finan and William Douglas Fort.
A reception was held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Atlanta.
