He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Duff Austin and his wife, Jessie Estelle Warrell of Canton; and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Ollie Crimm of Newton County.
Memorials may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 12 Kent Way, Suite 101, Byfeild, MA, 01922.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Garment plant supervisor
PHILADELPHIA Services for Lacy Earl Reese will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Duaine Morgan and Danny Cheatham officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Reese, 55, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his daughter, Lynn Reese Davidson of Crossett, Ark.; a son, Larken Reese of Stockbridge, Ga.; three grandchildren; his mother, Hattie Reese of Philadelphia; a sister, Carlene Butler and a brother, Neal Reese, both of Philadelphia.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Homemaker
Services for Emma Welborn Spence will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Everett Bonner and Jimmy Gunn officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Spence, 95, of Meridian, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Hawkins Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Earline Carr and her husband, Joe, of Avon Lake, Ohio, Willie Spence and his wife, Hazel, of Bailey, Everett Spence and his wife, Janell, of Booneville, Patsy McCarter and her husband, Ken, of Suqualena, Harold Spence and his wife, Herma, of Briarwood Community and Sara Beeman and her husband, Larry, of O'Fallon, Mo.; 25 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli W. Spence; a daughter, Sandra Goss; a grandson, Steven Spence; and an infant granddaughter, Sandra Marie McCarter.
Memorials may be made to Hawkins Memorial United Methodist Church, 2609 C Street, Meridian, MS 39301.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Spence, Josh Spence, Robert McCarter, Michael McCarter, Glenn Spence, Leslie Beeman, Jeff Gerrone and Adam Donald.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Audra "Cookie" Bosarge will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Ms. Bosarge, 37, of Meridian, died Sunday, June 13, 2004, in San Clemente, Calif.
Visitation will be Friday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Retired truck driver
Graveside services for William Harold Purvis were held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Cokers Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Daniel Chisholm officiating. Barham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Purvis, 70, of Meridian, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, in Meridian. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from Roadway Trucking.
Survivors include his son, William Terry Purvis of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; and a sister, Imogene Eddins and her husband, Thomas, of Demopolis, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Purvis.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for the Rev. William McPheeters, 94, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare Center.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Dr. Edgar Lewis, 84, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Elizabeth Smith, 78, of Meridian, who died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare Center.
