Wood, Laird

On the morning of Saturday, May 19, 2001, Bethany Shea Laird and Gregory Allen Wood were united in marriage at Hebron Baptist Church of Little Rock. The Rev. Roger Laird officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James B. Laird Jr. of Little Rock and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wood of Decatur.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Billy S. Munn and Mr. and Mrs. James Laird.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen Gressett and the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wood.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Karen McMahan, pianist; Thomas Laird, Amanda and Laura McMillan, soloists.
She entered the church on the arm of her father and her parents gave her away. Attending the bride and bridegroom on their special day were their family and friends. Misty Laird Kelly and Keith Wood served as matron of honor and best man.
Other attendants were Christina Wood Andrews and Dan Gressett, Kristi Brown and Daniel Munn, Brandye Munn and Andy McMillan, Sasya Wilhelm and Justin Chaney, Stacy and Joey Smith, Lindsey Little and Daniel Champion, Colby Little, Olivia and Victoria Martin. Nichol Hillman served at the guest registry.
Following the ceremony, a reception, featuring a Southern garden theme, was held at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Pavilion. Piano music, by Liberty Martin, filled the air as family and friends gathered to celebrate the joyous occasion. Assisting at the reception were Natasha Mathis, Jenny Horton, Nichol Hillman, Leslee Dunkerson and Jenna Tune.
The couple traveled to Nassau, Bahamas, for their honeymoon. They reside in Little Rock.
