Cherry Fay Wilson Walker

Cherry Fay Wilson Walker, 78, passed away Aug. 14 at her residence. She was born in Hodges to William Jeff Wilson and Ruby Evelyn Chamblee Wilson. She worked at Wrangler in Hackleburg and was a member of Hodges Church of Christ.

Services will be Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Marty Guidry officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Hodges.

Survivors are one daughter, Evelyn Engle and husband Thurl of Hodges; one son, Henry Walker and wife Keri of Hodges; three grandchildren, Jessie Engle, Josh Walker and Aaron Walker, all of Hodges; and one brother, Sonny Wilson, Winthrop Harbor, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Fred Walker, her parents and a sister, Peggy Elrod.

Pallbearers will be Jessie Engle, Beth Spencer, John Spencer, Aaron Walker, Josh Walker and Sam Guseman.

Visitation was Aug. 16, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
