Larence Cecil Davis, 78, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jim Poss officiating.  Interment was at Franklin Memory Gardens.

 He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Todd Davis; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews; and several cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Carrie Davis; brothers, Charles Davis and wife, Edith, Andrew T. Davis, William I. Davis and wife, Regina, Gordie Lee Davis and wife, Dorothy; and sister, Elsie Davis Gibson and husband, Bill.

The pallbearers were Michael Davis, John Prestage, Lee Morlan, David Nulph, Keith Lane, Terry Davis, and Byron Nulph.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Kevin Kelly, Dr. Pons, and staff at Southern Rural Health Care, Northwest Alabama Hospice, Russellville Hospital, ECM Hospital, and Burns Nursing Home.
