Bobby Gene Massey, 48, of Vina, Ala. passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at his residence. He was a native of Franklin County, Ala. and a logger for 10 years.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, of Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. Tim Farley officiating. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery, Vina, Ala.
He is survived by one son, Eric Massey; two daughters, Jennifer Christian and Brandi Massey; one brother, James Marshall Poores; one sister, Joy Ayers; two grandchildren, Mercedes Grace Burcham and Jayden Lee Estes; two aunts, five nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Massey, his mother, Muril Massey and a brother, Darrin Massey.
Pallbearers were Aaron Clack, Allen Ayers, Dustin Wilemon, Matthew Overton, Cody Poores, Raven Massey and Ethan Hammock.
