Harlon D. Farr, Sr., 46, of Vina passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at his residence. He was born Jan. 31, 1965 in Alabama and he was a welder for 30 years.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Scot George officiating. Burial was in Old Burleson Cemetery in Vina.
He is survived by his wife, Karie Webb Farr, of Vina; two sons, Harlon Dwight “DJ” Farr, Jr. and Jacob Zachariah Farr and wife, Chrissy, all of Vina.; his mother, Weonna Pennington, of Cullman; grandmother, Irene Swann, of Cullman; three grandchildren, Zoie Mae-Lynn Farr, Tristen Bailey Farr and Wilson Nathaniel Farr; five sisters, four brothers and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lemual Farr and two brothers.
Pallbearers were Shalane Burney, Johnny Bell, Steven Webb, Ricky Webb, James McCalpin and Brandon McCalpin.
