Myrtle Elizabeth “Maxine” Wiginton, 83, of Russellville passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011 at Russellville Health Care.

Mrs. Wiginton was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Resident Council President of Russellville Health Care.    She was an avid Alabama fan and loved to say “Roll Tide”.

The visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel.  Bro. Joe Lenox and Dr. Wade Wallace will officiate at the service.  Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Boyd and husband, Milton; son, Johnny Wiginton and wife, Susan; grandchildren, Heath Boyd and wife, Heather, Jera Prestage and husband, Kerry, Jennifer Whitfield and husband, Chad, Paige Soeder and husband, Kenny; great-grandchildren, Layne Boyd, Audrey Boyd, Abby Boyd, Kaleb Prestage, Keri Leigh Prestage, Emma Whitfield, Jenna Whitfield, Mason Soeder, Kale Soeder,  Kenzie Paige Soeder; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Heath Boyd, Chad Whitfield, Kenny Soeder, Kerry Prestage, Michael Lawler, and Shane Lawler.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Angela Lawrence, Kalisha Landers, Barbara Lawson, and all of the staff at Russellville Health Care for the love and care shown to their mother and grandmother.
