Raymond J. Motes, 56, of Spruce Pine, Ala. passed away on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010. 

The private graveside service will be Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 at Blue Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Shane Motes, Mark Sartin, Mark Kimbrough, Joey Motes, Keith Wilson, and Josh Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelsey and Mary Motes; brother, James Motes.

He is survived by sons, Shane Motes, Zack Motes; sisters, Linda “Nanner” Hutcheson, Diane Brewer, Kathy “Sissy” Weeks; brothers, Matt Motes, Rodney Motes; grandchildren, Trenton Shane Motes, Abagail Jolie Motes; several nieces and nephews.

He was a Mason Shriner.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 31356 Tampa, FL 33631.
