Raymond David Yocom, 82, of Russellville, Ala., passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Russellville Hospital.

He was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and member of Alva Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  He was retired from Reynolds Metals Company.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with Arnold Sheets officiating.  Burial followed in Gravel Hill Cemetery. 

He is survive by his wife, Anna Mae Yocom, of Russellville; son, Johnnie Ray Yocom, of Russellville; daughter, Judy Ann Gandy, of Russellville; sister, Elizabeth Pace, of Russellville; grandchildren, Michael Allen and wife, Heather, Candi Bales and husband, Shawn, Tonya James and husband, Brandon; great-grandchildren, Dylan Bales, Kallie Allen, Braden Bales, Keslie Allen and Chloe James.

Pallbearers were Michael Allen, Shawn Bales, Tommy Allen, Dennis Tarver, Brandon James and Larry Hall.  Honorary bearers were Elmer Bevis, Larry Littrell, Larry Cain, Jim Holland, Gary Allen and Steve Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joshua and Martha Yocom.
