Cathy Vernon Hester, 55, of Russellville passed away on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Greg Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Isbell Chapel Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Hester; sisters, Elaine Hemen, Margaret Nichols and Denise Stubblefield; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fielder Goodman; mother, Lucille Goodman Hemen; and brothers, Eugene Goodman and Denys Hemen.
