Eric Martin, 36, of Red Bay, passed away Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 in Franklin County, Ala. He was born October 22, 1973 in Franklin County. He had been an employee of Belmont Homes for five years, Sunshine Homes and Pilgrims Pride in Russellville.
Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Red Bay with Bro. Danny Stovall officiating. Burial was in Burgess Cemetery in Golden, Miss. Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay assisted the family.
He is survived by his mother, Diane Crayton and husband, Charles, of Fulton, Miss.; three children, Eric Jordan Martin and James Jarah Martin, both of Tupelo, Miss. and Brianna Laken Brazell, of Russellville; one brother, Jamie Keith Martin, of Florence; grandmothers, Azzie Lee Martin, of Red Bay and Annie Blanchard, of Vernon, Ala.; one great-grandmother, Annie C. Hollis, of Vernon, Ala.; special friend, Heather Brown and her daughter, Leslie Pineda, of Red Bay; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Martin, Jr.
Pallbearers were Jack Tabbs, Nathan Martin, Anthony Hackman, Tyler Hampton, Samuel Blanchard and Keith Blanchard.
