Bennie S. Barnes, 74, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Barnes retired from Reynolds Metal Company after 35 years of service.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.
He was preceded in death by parents, Howard and Laura Barnes; brothers, Zollie, Joe, Jack and Waynes Barnes; sisters, Marie Porter and Patsy Barnes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Cathy Barnes; son, Jim Barnes and wife, Stormy; daughters, Debbie Pounders, Becky Parrish and husband, Gary, Lisa Wells and husband, Daris; brother, Stratt Barnes; sisters, Rachel Thornton, Reatha Weems; grandchildren, Michelle Cooper and husband, Geoff, Corey Parrish and wife, Amanda, Devin Wells, Bren Wells, Trent Miller, Tyler Barnes and Tait Barnes; great-grandchildren, Nehemiah, Isaac, Titus and Kinley Parrish, Katie and Jake Cooper; special niece, Bridget Gassaway.
