Violet Hardy, 83, of Phil Campbell, Ala. passed away on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010.
Funeral services were held Monday Oct. 11, 2010 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church with Bro. Merrell Potter and Bro. Coye Morgan officiating. She will be laid to rest in East Franklin Cemetery. Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.
Pallbearers were Kevin Benford, Billy Cummings, Terelton Morgan, Rickey Morgan, Buren Morgan, and Jeff Morgan.
She is survived by her sons, Denzel Hardy, Douglas Hardy; brothers, Buel Morgan, Edgar Morgan; grandchildren, Tim Hardy, Kim Cole, Danny Hardy, Dina Sparks, Falisha Kaufman; 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by husband Berlin Hardy; father; Homer I. Morgan; mother, Mattie McNair; siblings; Velma Trapp, Vera Cummings, Lushion Morgan, William Morgan, Mabel Morgan.
