Lenard B. “Snuffy” Pounders, 86, Phil Campbell, passed away Friday Oct. 8, 2010 at Burns Nursing Home, Russellville.
Mr. Pounders was retired from U.S. Reduction and was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Jerome Sherrill and Venlon Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell. Visitation will be Saturday 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife Mae Jean Pounders; son, Steve Pounders and wife Teresa of Russellville; daughters, Doris J. Bradford and husband Venlon of Winfield, Joan Benford and husband J.M. of Phil Campbell; brother, Orval Pounders and wife Marge, Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Tim Bradford, Greg Bradford, Amanda George, Shannon Benford, Brad Pounders, Brian Pounders, Brittany Blackburn; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Lou and Tishey Pounders; brothers, Travis Pounders, Randus Pounders, Harles Pounders, and infant brother; sisters, Icie Welborn, Dora Cooper, Evia Steward.
