All-Stars fall in semifinals

The Russellville 11&12 All-Stars fell one win shy of reaching the championship series with an 11-10 loss to Westside-Mobile.

Trey Williams and Hunter James had two hits each while Joshua Seal, Reed Smith, Austin Kitterman and Austin Odom had one hit each.

Sid Willis, Seal, Kitterman and Odom split pitching duties during the game.

“Defensively we played great. We had one error in four games,” said coach Randy Seal. “They worked hard and played hard. I think they will be better players for it.”
