Police looking for hit and run suspect

Authorities with the Alabama State Troopers Office are searching for a truck that was involved in a hit-and-run that left one women injured Friday afternoon.

  Law enforcement officials said the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Franklin 20 in Spruce Pine.

Authorities said they are looking for a dark colored, full-sized Chevorlet that was last seen headed east on Franklin 75.

  Reports indicate the woman was walking along the roadway when she was struck. She was taken to Russellville Hospital where her condition has not been released.
