Woodward, Carpenter

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bernard Woodward of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Ann, to Bradley Glen Carpenter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Glen Carpenter of Vicksburg.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at 6 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church.
Miss Woodward is the granddaughter of Ann Smith and Whit Smith of Greenville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Print Woodward of Louisville.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, she was member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. She is a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Mr. Carpenter is the grandson of Bob and Lanell Carpenter of Calvin, La.; Jack Taylor of Downsville, La., and the late Barbara Taylor.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Warren Central High School and received bachelor's degrees in business information systems and marketing from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order fraternity.
Mr. Carpenter is employed by Peavey Electronics.
A reception will be held at Holiday Inn Express following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
