Red Bay pulls away from Tharptown early

The Red Bay Lady Tigers established dominance over the Tharptown Lady Wildcats early, building a 19-point first half lead and going on to win 47-34.
Red Bay jumped out to a 14-4 first quarter lead and outscored the Wildcats 16-7 in the second quarter to extend the lead to 30-11 at halftime. Tharptown outscored Red Bay 12-8 in the third quarter and 11-9 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Tigers from the win.
Mallori Miller led Red Bay with 17 points. Macy Faulkner added eight points. Destiny McCollister, Savannah Shaw and Brooke Shewbart scored six points each. Carlie Lindley finished the game with three points, Lila Blackburn with two points and Reagan Kuykendall two points.
Linda Bahena led Tharptown with 10 points. Gracie Montgomery added nine points, Brooke Daily eight points, Aly Vandiver four points, Annslee Bottoms two points and Adrianna Borden one point.
