Remembering my resolution

I have finally decided to get back on the wagon that I fell off of shortly after New Years Day.
I have decided to renew my quest to lose the extra pounds that I have packed on since I got married and had my son.
It seems like every year I make the same New Year's Resolution, and every year, I fall off of that wagon shortly after I get on it, much to my dismay.
I always get discouraged with myself and I end up giving up.
I have made the decision that this time will be different. My husband and I have both decided that this is the right time for this and that we plan on doing it right by eating healthier and by exercising every day.
It's good that I not only have my husband's support on this, but I also have someone suffering through this with me, and someone to keep me on the right track even when I feel like giving up.
Poor eating habits, skipping meals and not eating healthy meals when we do eat are probably the biggest culprits in our expanding waistline, but not anymore.
The scale hasn't been my friend in quite a few years, and I am ready to change that.
All the snack food and junk food is out until further notice.
I know we'll miss it, but the one thing we won't miss is all the weight as it comes off.
I am tired of being stuck in the rut that I am in, and it's high time that I do something about it.
All the excuses I have used in the past just aren't going to work anymore.
I am going to start holding myself accountable for the decisions that I make and one way or another, my husband and I are both going to make it through this.
As my husband and I have been taking our walks this week, I have definitely felt tired but the thing I feel more than being tired is determination and a sense of satisfaction that I am finally doing something good for myself.
Not only will I be healthier, but also I will actually feel better about myself.
There's no way I am falling off the wagon this time, regardless of how wild and bumpy the ride may get.
