Services for Betty Jean Griffin will be held today at noon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in DeKalb with the Rev. Keith Duvall officiating. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Griffin, 62, of DeKalb, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her children, Ricky Coleman, Lillie Denese Knox, Michael A. Coleman, Ken A. Coleman, Tammy O'Neal and Mary Lynn Griffin; sisters, Mary Ann Dixon of Anderson, Ind., and Ernestine Creer of Moss Point; brothers, Willie Peden and Henry Wyatt Cole, both of Anderson, Johnny Ray Cole and Donald Earl Cole, both of DeKalb; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters and husbands.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Annie Gertrude Mazingo will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Billy Crowe, James Gates and Barber Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Gilbertown.
Mrs. Mazingo, 87, of Gilbertown, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Maxine Turner and Alice Clark, both of Gilbertown, and Thelma Todd and Geraldine Broadhead, both of Toxey; sons, Andy Talmadge Mazingo, Jerry Mazingo and Archie C. Mazingo, all of Gilbertown; a brother, Zack Stafford of Silas; sisters, Easter Wilson of Gilbertown and Miriam Elmore of Mt. Vernon; 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Graveside services for Richard F. Willis will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery with the Rev. John Jacob officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Willis, 86, formerly of Wetumpka, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, in Quitman. He was a member of Shoal Baptist Church in Alabama.
Survivors include his daughter, Rita McDuffee and her husband, Jimmy, of Meridian; a daughter-in-law, Kay Barr; a sister, Ida May Pruett; 18 nieces and nephews, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Barr; six brothers and two sisters; and his parents, Andrew and Sarah Willis.
Pallbearers will be Brad Alexander, Kyle Alexander, Jim McDuffee, Stacy Barr, Brandon Barr and Keith Alexander.
Visitation will be Friday from noon-12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for James Willard Gough will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Gough, 84, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a decorated veteran of World War II.
Survivors his wife, Bonnie Gough of Meridian; a daughter, Kathy Holley and her husband, James "Jim," of Woodbridge, Va.; a granddaughter, Wendy Renee Baker Rodriguez and her husband, Juan Carlos "J.C.," of Dumfries, Va.; a grandson, James "Jay" Frank Baker and his wife, Corinne "Cori," of San Diego; brothers, Connell Gough and Roland Gough, both of Meridian, and Leland Gough of Senatobia; sisters, Annelle McDonald of Clinton and Eloise Ellis of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Gough.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
MCCOMB Services for Nanette Anderson Stephens will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Dore officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.
Mrs. Stephens, 83, of Northport, Ala., formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Survivors include her husband, Bunyan Dudley Stephens; a daughter, Sherry S. Scheber; a son, B. Dudley Stephens and his wife, Cheryl; a sister, Josephine Faust; a brother, Dr. George Hamilton II and his wife, Peggy; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewelle and George Hamilton, and Joseph Max Anderson; a sister, Maxine Anderson Lillie; and two grandchildren, Sharon DeArman and Nancy Nanette.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
