Suspicious person call leads to arrest
Troy Lamar Darby, 35, was arrested Oct. 2 by the Russellville Police Department, according to Lt. Jake Tompkins.
RPD received a suspicious person call from a local apartment complex. Responding officers located and identified Darby at the apartment complex and immediately took him into custody for outstanding warrants.
During the arrest, officers recovered a sawed-off shotgun and drug paraphernalia.
Darby has been charged with possession of a sawed-off shotgun, possession of drug paraphernalia and drunkard/addict in possession of a firearm.
He is currently in the Franklin County Detention Center pending state charges, and Alcohol Tobacco Firearms will be taking up the case.
