Dorothy Regina Wilbanks Nelson

Dorothy Regina Wilbanks Nelson, 59, Russellville, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012, at her residence.

She was a native of Colbert County but had lived in Franklin County for the past 23 years.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Larry Prince officiating. Burial was in Hyde Cemetery.

Survivors include children, Sherry Hawkins and husband, Billy, Gary Nelson, Charlie Nelson, all of Russellville; brothers, Jerry Wilbanks and wife, Patricia, Phil Campbell, Larry Wilbanks and wife, Tina, Phil Campbell, Charles Wilbanks, Biloxi, Miss.; grandchildren, Destiny Jones and Christopher Hawkins; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Beatrice Wilbanks; sisters, Barbara Watson, Anna Franks, Brenda Brewer and Patricia Tidwell.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 104 South Poplar Street, Florence, AL 35630.
