Wade Wilburn McAfee

Wade Wilburn McAfee, 84, of Spruce Pine, Ala., died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. McAfee was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a retired farmer.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, November 12, at 11 a.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville, with Rev. Jerome Sherrill and Andy Lampert officiating. Burial will be in Dempsey Cemetery in Russellville. Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Jean McAfee; children, Harold McAfee and wife, Sharon, of Florence, Ala., Kerry McAfee and wife, Karen, of Spruce Pine, Ala., Ann Lampert and husband, Andy, of New Orleans, La., Doris Holderby and husband, Terry, of Spruce Pine, Ala., Phillip McAfee and wife, Karen, of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; brother, Dayton McAfee, of Russellville, Ala.; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons, Harold McAfee, Kerry McAfee, Phillip McAfee, Jim McAfee, Daniel McAfee, and Caleb Lampert.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons.
