Keren Rene Lowe of Meridian and Hubert Glenn Thrash Jr. of Newton were married Saturday, March 6, 2004, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Snell, with the Rev. Dr. Raymond Leake of Meridian officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Lowe of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Thrash Sr. of Lawrence.
Grandparents of the bride are Pauline Lowe of Roberta, Ga. and the late Jerry Lowe, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Byrd of Post, Texas.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Pauline Rogers of Pearl and the late Hubert Thrash, and Louise Cooper of Magnolia and the late Jimmy Roberson.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white sleeveless satin gown accented with pearls. The gown featured a floor-length A-line skirt. The back bodice extended into a pearl lined sweep train.
Leah Jones of Petal, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Taylor Jones of Petal, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Ryan Collison of Lawrence was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Eric James and Jeremy Jones, both brothers-in-law of the bride.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Alicia James, sister of the bride.
The couple resides in Montrose.
