Arts in the Park: Calling all artists

Organizers of Meridian's 2004 Arts in the Park are asking artists to submit logos for the 33rd annual festival.
The design will be featured on the festival's poster and T-shirt. Debbie Martin of Cartmell Gallery said the design must incorporate one of the following carousel animals a giraffe, a tiger or a deer.
The design can be submitted in any medium in a format no larger than 16-by-20. The submission deadline is Dec. 1; winners will be announced Jan. 1. Artwork can be dropped off at Cartmell Gallery, 609 22nd Ave. in downtown Meridian.
Arts in the Park is set for the first weekend in April at Meridian's Highland Park.
