Rayan Trapp
Sept. 20, 2025 

Rayan Trapp, 95, of the East Franklin community, passed away peacefully at Terrace Manor Nursing and Rehab Sept. 20. Rayan was born August 29, 1930, to Charles Lee and Lillie Trapp. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. Rayan was an expert marksman, a skilled master craftsman, and a hard-working millwright. Above all, Rayan was a generous and kind man.    

Visitation was held Sept. 23 at Akins Funeral Home from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a funeral service directly after.   Burial was in East Franklin Cemetery. Bro. Rick Yocom officiated.  

He is survived by his daughters, Mary Stanford, Shannon (Jamie) Boyles, Christy Trapp; grandchildren, Jerel Osborn, Stephanie Osborn, Mellie Stanford, Patrick Trapp, Matthew Trapp, Candace Trapp, Emmi Sanders, Jake Boyles, Ella Boyles; great grandchildren, Eli Montgomery, Tyler Osborn, Cainan Montgomery, Ava Berryman, Sammy Harris, Gracie Harris, Denny Stanford, Marcus Stanford, Charlie Goines, Oliver Goines, Lillie Trapp, Ethan Trapp, Katherine Trapp, Celia Trapp, Emilia Trapp; sister, Gwendolyn Colburn; and a host of nieces and nephews.  

Rayan was preceded in death by his wife Christine Marie Trapp; son, Rickey Trapp; grandson, Cody Trapp; great granddaughter, Cecilia Trapp; parents, Charlie Lee and Lillie Mae Cain Trapp; brother, Silvia “Silvie” Trapp; and sisters, Virla “Verler” Trapp Elliot, Lurra “Lurrie” Trapp Williams, Arcula “Mutt” Trapp Brooks, Artrilla “Dutte” Trapp Crumpton, Dean Trapp Crumpton and Gene Trapp Crumpton.

Sept. 17, 2025 

Evelyn Maelynn Gann, 89, of Phil Campbell, passed away Sept. 17. Visitation was held at Pinkard Funeral Home Sept. 20 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with the service immediately following. Burial was in Blue Springs Cemetery.  

Mae Williams Yocom
Sept. 14, 2025 

Mae Williams Yocom, 91, of Russellville, passed away Sept. 14. Visitation was held Sept. 18 at Spry Memorial Chapel from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with the service immediately following. Burial was in Gravel Hill Cemetery.

Sept. 12, 2025 

Curtis Walker Roden, 86, of Russellville, passed away Sept. 12. Visitation was held at Spry Memorial Chapel on Sept.15 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with the service immediately following. Burial was in Gargis Cemetery.
