Red Bay marks Day of Prayer

Several citizens and leaders in the Red Bay community gathered together May 3 in Bay Tree Park to recognize the National Day of Prayer.

An enthusiastic turnout marked this year’s event. “This is one of the largest groups that have gathered for this,” Mayor Charlene Fancher said.

Pastor Bill Harper delivered the introduction. Pastor Rick Bradley provided the message with the emphasis “Our eyes are upon You,” a reference to 2 Chronicles in the Bible.

Pastor Steve Lindsay delivered the closing prayer.

Jaycee Vinson and Carolina Robinson performed two songs to close out the event.
