Dessie Frauline Hester

Dessie Frauline Hester, 86, Russellville, passed away March 12.

She lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of the Shady Grove Church of Christ. She was a member of the Home Extension Club and retired from Walmart.

Visitation will be March 15 from 5-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Doris Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Frankfort.

Survivors include children, Bobby Hester, Russellville, and Joyce Hester Maynard, Oakwood, Va.; sister, Odessa Greenhill, Russellville; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband James Nelson Hester and parents Dennis Monroe and Carrie Ozella Daily Smith.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hester, Larry Hester, Jimmy Clark, Timmy Clark, Ethan Hester and Leon Smith.
