Schedule of events for Relay for Life

The Relay for Life is an important event each year for many citizens in Franklin County. This year’s events will kick off on May 1 at the RHS stadium. Here is a list of events that have been planned so far.

 

 

Order of events 2015 Relay For Life

6 p.m.-6:45 p.m. Joel Aldridge and SRX

7 p.m. Opening Ceremony, Flag Presentation, National Anthem, Invocation

7:15 p.m. Survivor recognition and Survivor Lap

7:50 p.m. presentation of special award

8:00 p.m. Waywhilago

8:45 p.m. Caregiver Recognition and Preparation for Luminary ceremony

9 p.m. Luminary ceremony

9:30 p.m. Awards for best tent site, t-shirt, special awards and drawings

10:25 p.m. Announce Fundraising Awards

10:30 p.m. Relay Idol begins

*Teams will be fundraising with carnival style games, bell strike, ball toss, pick up ducks, toy walk, balloon animals, face painting, tattoo booth, glow sticks etc.

*Food will be available for purchase including chicken fingers, fries, gator taters, fresh pork rinds, drinks, cotton candy, hot dogs, and snow cones.
