Steven Ray Criswell, Sr., 62, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 27, 1951, in Alabama to Allen and Opal Dees Criswell. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Red Bay and a veteran of the US Army serving during Vietnam.

Services were Monday, May 20, 2013, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Bill Harper officiating. Burial was in Berry Cemetery.

Survivors are his wife Donna Criswell, of Red Bay; two sons, Todd Criswell of Jacksonville, Fla., and Stevie Criswell of Birmingham; two sisters, Paulette Massey and husband, Jimmy, and Patty Long and husband, Jeff; two brothers, Chuck Criswell and wife, Terri, and Wayne Criswell and wife, Terri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roger Criswell.

Pallbearers were Bradley Long, Brandon Long, Larry Brooks, Johnny Burks, Jeff Long and Josh Scott.
