Shirley Lane Franks, 75, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 at home.

Mrs. Franks was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Newburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, John T. Lane, Sr. and Effie Seay Lane; eight brothers; five sisters; one grandson, Tyler Wray.

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Bro. Eddie Wix officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers were nephews; Hite Lane, Randy Britnell, Doug Nicholson, Rodney Seay,

John Lane and Michael Lane.

Mrs. Franks is survived by her husband, Robert Ray Franks; children, Jane Wray and

husband, Ronnie, Russellville, Steve Franks, Russellville, Mike Franks and wife, Christi,

Russellville, Keith Franks and wife, Tammy Lynn, Red Bay, Kevin Franks and wife, Kim, Russellville; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Nicholson, Russellville; brother, Gresham Lane, Mt. Hope.
