Frieda M. Hulsey, 71, of Bear Creek, Ala. passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Russellville Hospital.
She was born in Covington, Tenn., the daughter of the late Silas and Ella Birdyshaw. She was a member of Bear Creek No. 1 Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Foy Birdyshaw.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 18, 2011 at Bear Creek No. 1 Baptist Church with George Jones and Richard Crumpton officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, Ala. assisted the family.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Hulsey; children, Rick Hulsey, Ron Hulsey, Teresa Darnell and Joe Hulsey; sisters, Lucille Trevino, Lois Kirkpatrick, and Faye Costillo; grandchildren, Jill, Jennifer, Ken, Bob, Lauren, Kristen, Joshua, Felicia and Aaron; great-grandchild, David.
