‘Alcohol kills’ signs being placed in city

Members of the Franklin County Vote Dry PAC recently met with the purpose of distributing signs to be placed throughout the community.

“We want citizens to understand that the effects of alcohol can be fatal,” Calvary Baptist Church’s pastor Dr. Wade Wallace said during the meeting.

Members of the PAC also plan to distribute fliers and church bulletin inserts to local churches and have PAC members outside polling places the day of the election to continue to get their message across.

“We will work up until the last minute so everyone who casts a vote will understand this issue,” PAC member Mike Sewell said.
