Pauline Gibson, 75, of Vina, Ala. died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at Southern Magnolia Estates in Golden, Miss.  She was born July 23, 1935 in Pekin, Ill. to Montel and Mary Pauline Fife Baker. She was a homemaker and secretary at Reskin Elementary School in Glendale Heights, Ill. for 14 years. She was a member of New Union Missionary Baptist Church and American Rose Society.

Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 20, 2010 at Woolsey Funeral Home, Pekin, Ill.  Burial was in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin, Ill. Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay, Ala. was in charge of local arrangements.

She is survived by one son, Paul Gibson and wife, Rhetta, of Pembroke, Ga.; two grandchildren, Patrick Gibson and Shauna Gibson Williams and husband, David; four great-grandchildren, Christian Gibson, Hunter Gibson, Riley Williams and Ethan Williams; and special friends and caregivers, Jimmy and Ella Berry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon J. Gibson and her parents.
