Maggie Rachel Bishop Weeks, 90, of Phil Campbell, Ala. passed away on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 at Burns Nursing Home. 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2010 at Union Hill FCM Church with Bro. Dewayne Wood and Bro. Woren Frost officiating. Interment was in Union Hill Cemetery.  Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.

Pallbearers were Eric Weeks, Kevin Richardson, Ryan Weeks, Trent Richardson, Bo Weeks, and Todd Carter; honorary pallbearers were Tyler Weeks and Slade Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Early Weeks; parents, Andy and Mary Heath Bishop; siblings, Gracie Weeks, Winnie Weeks, Vassie Mann, Lassie Bishop, and Walker Bishop.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth Weeks and wife, Mary Sue; brother-in-law, Jim Weeks; grandchildren, Norris Weeks and wife, Latrina, Cosundra Richardson and husband, Tom; great grandchildren, Eric Weeks and wife, Jill, Kevin Richardson and wife, Christy, Ryan Weeks and wife, Heather, Trent Richardson; great-great grandchildren, Carly Weeks, Tyler Weeks, and Slade Richardson; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Union Hill FCM Church.

The family expresses their thanks to Burns Nursing Home and Hospice of North Alabama.
