Barbara Yvonne Driskell Wilson, 56, of Corinth, Miss. went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010.

She was the devoted wife of Phillip Wilson for 23 years and the loving mother to Clay Wilson.  She was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Community Church.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends she made while working with the public and members of her church family.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Freedom Community Church in Russellville with Bro. Tom Wimberly officiating.  Visitation will be from 1 p.m. prior to the service.  Interment will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Matt James, Jim Bauer, Athel Scott, Gene Taylor, Emon Walsh and Danny Langston.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ronny Murphy, Ronald Holdbrooks, Judge Barry Moore and Howard Grant.

She is survived by her son, Clay Wilson, of Russellville; mother, Shellie Scott Driskell Hancock, of Corinth, Miss.; grandmother, Ophelia Scott, of Marietta, Ga.; sister, Nancy Pace, of Corinth, Miss.; brothers, Tommy Driskell and Kelvin Hancock, both of Corinth, Miss.; mother-in-law, Betty Wilson, of Russellville; sister-in-law, Donna James, of Russellville; nieces, Natasha Henderson, Brooke Wray, Amanda Wortham, Tambrie Wortham, Alexis Wray, Madi Grace Henderson; nephews, Jason Driskell, Matt James, Brennan James, Paxton Wray, Nathan Pace, Kamp Pace, Noah Henderson, Paxton Harris.

She was preceded in death her father, Harley Thomas Driskell; brother, Harley Marshall Driskell; step-father, Edward Hancock; father-in-law, Marvin Wilson; grandfathers, James Robert Driskell and Johnny Scott; grandmother, Gladys Briley.

Donations to Hope Lodge, 1104 Ireland Way, Birmingham, Ala. 35205 in memory of Yvonne would be greatly appreciated.
