Nadine Bullen Parker, 85, of Red Bay, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010 at her residence. She was born March 31, 1925 in Alabama and was a seamstress employed at Blue Bell for 40 years. She was a member of The Church of Lord Jesus.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Sept. 9, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Bill Burcham and Arthur Hardin officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Golden, Miss.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest Parker and wife, Sue, of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Gary Parker and wife, Icy, of Red Bay, Ala.; three grandchildren, Ernest Parker III, Lee Parker and Evans Parker; one sister, Imagene Sutton and husband, Gene, of Atlanta, Ga. and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Parker.
Pallbearers were Arthur Hardin, Alben Mason, L.D. Overton, Johnny Mason, Gene Mason and Dean Mason. Honorary pallbearers were Hollis Brown, Bill Elrod, Omer Thrasher and Bobby Tutor.
