Stanley Calvin Cook, 70, of Hackleburg, Ala., died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at Russellville Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ritchie Emerson officiating. Interment will be in the Cooper Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Lee Cook; parents, Robert and Nora Cook; sisters, Annie Mae Emerson, Willie Branyon; brother, Bill Cook.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Quinn Cook; daughter, Betty Sue Cook Waldrop; son, James Edward Cook (Lupita); sisters, Ora Gilmore, Edna Dupree, Ruby Inman; brothers, Floyd Cook and wife, Delois, Sonny Cook and wife, Betty, Auzie Cook and wife, Frances; grandchild, Michelle Cook
He was a member of Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
