Linda J. Humphries, 62, of Red Bay, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1947 in Franklin County, Ala. to John Wesley and Lola Rutherford Garrison. She was a seamstress in garment manufacturing. She attended Maple Springs Church of God in Mantachie, Miss.
Funeral services were held July 4, 2010 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial was in Halltown Cemetery in Vina, Ala.
She is survived by two sons, Jonathan E. Humphries and Donald Ray Humphries, both of Red Bay; two sisters, Bernice Johnson, of Red Bay and Laura J. Brewer and husband, Alvie, of Vina; two brothers, Harold Garrison and wife, Kay and Wendell C. Garrison and wife, Opelene, all of Red Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and five brothers.
