Corrine Frederick Childers, 73, of Vina, Ala. passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Russellville Hospital.  She was born Sept. 9, 1936 in Marion County, Ala. to William and Ruthie Clark Frederick.  She was a homemaker and attended Williams Sanctuary.

Funeral services were held July 9, 2010 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. W.D. Humphres officiating.  Burial was in Halltown Cemetery in Vina, Ala.

She is survived by three children, Nelson Childers, of Savannah, Tenn., Foster Childers, of Russellville, Ala. and Carol Davis, of Vina, Ala.; three brothers, Charlie Frederick and wife, Janette, Franklin Frederick and wife, Glenis, all of Hackleburg, and Pete Frederick and wife, Sherri, of Birmingham, Ala.; two sisters, Rosa Yates and husband, Clarence, and Francis Colburn and husband, Wade, all of Birmingham, Ala.; five grandchildren, John Childers, Wesley Childers, Evan Childers, Eddie Dees and LaDava Davis; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; two sisters; and father of her children, John Alfred Childers.

Pallbearers were Wesley Childers, Eddie Dees, Evan Childers, Johnny Davis, Pete Frederick and Charlie Frederick.
