Wallace Baker

June 10, 2010

Wallace Vaughn Baker, 56, of Hattisburg, Miss., formerly of Russellville, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Pensacola Baptist Medical Center. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Buford Parker officiating. Burial was in the Franklin Memory Gardens.

Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Baker; sisters, Shirley Cothrum, Evelyn Rogers; son  Barry Baker; granddaughter, MacKenzie Baker.

He is survived by his children, Tina Dillard, and husband, Todd, Sheena Baker, Krista Baker, Allison Mae Baker, Aaron Baker, Justin Baker; five grandchildren; father, Louie “Bud”  Baker; brothers, David  Baker and wife, Faye, Frankie Baker and wife, Vickey; Steve Baker and wife, Janet, Loyd Baker and wife, Frances, Charles Baker; sisters, JoAnne Goins, Dorothy Gooch and husband, Brennon; a host of nieces and nephews.
